During the spring of 2007, I joined Intuit in Mountain View, California to work with engineering processes around strategic reuse. Before Intuit, I worked at Nokia Research Center in Finland where I headed the Software and Application Technologies laboratory. Before joining Nokia, I was head of the software engineering research group at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, where I hold a professorship in software engineering. My research activities include software architecture design, software product families, software variability management and component-oriented programming.
